These terms cover your use of the Honewood website and any purchase you make from it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them - they're short and written to be understood.

Using the site

You may use this site to browse and buy our products for your own personal use. You agree not to misuse it - no attempts to break, overload, scrape, copy, or interfere with the site or its security, and no use for anything unlawful. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.

Products

We do our best to show our products accurately, including photos and descriptions. Even so, colors and the natural grain of the walnut vary from piece to piece, and screens display things differently, so the item you receive may differ slightly from the images. We make no health or medical claims about our products.

Prices and errors

All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD) and may change at any time. We try hard to keep pricing and product information correct, but errors happen. If we discover an error in a price or description after you order - for example an item listed at an obviously wrong price - we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We'll always contact you first if we do.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation, and a contract is formed at that point. We may refuse or cancel an order - for example if an item is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if there was a pricing error - and we'll refund any payment taken for a cancelled order. We may also limit quantities per customer.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. By submitting payment details you confirm you're authorized to use the payment method. We don't store your full card details.

Shipping, returns, and guarantee

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns, the Lifetime Sharp-Again money-back guarantee, and the 2-year hardware warranty are covered by our Returns, Refunds & Guarantee policy. Those policies are part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The Honewood name, logo, product designs, text, photography, and other content on this site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Your content

If you send us a review, photo, or other content, you keep ownership of it but grant us permission to use it to promote Honewood (for example, sharing a review). You're responsible for anything you submit and confirm it's yours to share.

Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices - check their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

Our products are made for normal home kitchen use. Sharp blades require care - always follow the product instructions and handle knives responsibly. The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. This section does not remove any rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived under the law that applies to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Honewood is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to cover us for reasonable losses arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable to where we operate, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country or state where you live. If there's a dispute, we'd always rather sort it out directly first - email us and we'll try to make it right.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here at the time of your order is the one that applies to that order.
